FRANCE: Bronze medal (1807) commemorating the completion of the road over the Simplon pass in the canton of Valais with laureate head of Napoleon facing right. Seated colossal man, busy mountain pass in background on reverse. Inside slab by "MS 62 BN". (Bramsen 688).
